They are not real Smiths at all, but here is a touching story of how five Australian businessmen started a children's charity. Rather than be embarrassed by thanks, they stayed anonymous by calling themselves "Smith", and their charity The Smith Family.

Naturally, the last website mentioned above is not to be confused with our own family charitable trust, where we are asking real Smiths to help children who are their own relatives.
