Smith Family, Name and Fame
Everybody nearly knows what the Smith name means, so we start by filling in any gaps by describing the origin and meaning of the Smith name. We then trace our family back to 600 AD in our Smith Family History (do not miss this, because we give a reasoned argument why the Smith genes are the best in the Anglo-Saxon world!)
Certainly you will like to look at the Smith Coat of Arms and the Smith Family Crest. We discuss some of our more famous family members. These include Captain John Smith, founder of Jamestown, Virginia; Admiral Sir Sidney Smith, the unsung conqueror of Napoleon Bonaparte; famous writer Wilbur Smith; and First Lady Abigail Smith Adams. Then we mention some of the (too few) Smith Family Trees available on the Web and the Smith Genealogy.
We look at a tiny sample of Smith businesses on the web, including Smith Doctors, Smith Lawyers, and other Smith Businesses. We invite Smiths (or Smith relatives) to advertise their firms on this website in return for a donation to the Family Charitable Trust.
Our family has beautiful, polite and very clever children who will miss their chances of a good education unless help is found for their tuition fees. If you can afford to give to any charitable cause at all, please think first of children who are your own blood-relatives. 100% of donations to our Family Children's Educational Trust goes to the benefit of these children. There are also various advertisements and products for sale on this website, such as the Smith mail-order Pharmacy, where all proceeds go also to the Children's Charitable Trust.
If you are unable to make a donation at the present time, you can still help us for free, by increasing our visitors with a Social Bookmark. Please add us to Digg, Del.icio.us, etc, or just press the Social Bookmark sign:- ![]()
Other names related to Smith are listed. We then take a look at other websites by Smith family members. We tell you a bit about this website and how it came into being, and prepare you for the forthcoming family forum.
